We are introducing new FTC164 and FTM164 tracking devices, which stand out thanks to their extended autonomous working time, durable casing, and configurable pinouts for different client needs. These new trackers are the successors to our well-established FMC234 and FMB204 models, which have been successfully used across various industries and valued for their reliable performance in challenging environments. As the latest addition to our product portfolio, FTC164 and FTM164 are FT platform-based devices developed to provide enduring vehicle visibility and flexible use in various scenarios.

Even when a vehicle stops, the need for location visibility remains. Meanwhile, tracking continues as long as the GPS tracker is powered, but what happens when external power is disconnected?
This happens more often than you might think: a trailer left behind after the cabin departs, a camper stored with its batteries disconnected, construction equipment standing idle on-site, or agricultural machinery parked for the off-season. Different vehicles, different scenarios, yet one critical need remains the same - knowing exactly where they are. That’s where FTx164 devices step in. Designed for vehicles that spend long periods without external power, FTC164 and FTM164 keep location monitoring active when it matters most.
Our new devices stand out for the large-capacity 2,600 mAh battery, which combined with Power Off sleep mode offers autonomous tracker operation for up to 150 days. These devices have the new FT platform feature – record scheduler that allows clients to customise record sending frequency to best fit their business needs as well as minimise power consumption.
FTC164 and FTM164 are developed with a focus on durability and different client needs by combining a waterproof and dustproof IP69K-rated casing, mounting holes for easy instalment, and flexible pinout usage. Clients can configure the tracker’s pinouts based on their needs, choosing whether to use certain pins as digital or analog inputs, for example, for an SOS button or fuel level monitoring.
What's more, when paired with Bluetooth® and 1-Wire accessories, our new trackers can provide extra security level by implementing driver identification or monitoring door status and cargo temperature.

With scheduled record sending, you can choose the exact times when data records are sent. For example, on Mondays at 12:30 AM, 6:00 PM, 11:00 PM and on Wednesdays 8:15 AM, 5:50 PM. In total, it is possible to schedule up to 6 records per day.
How can I reach the optimal power consumption with FTC164 & FTM164 devices?
To optimise power consumption, you can combine Power Off sleep mode with scheduled record sending to reduce battery usage.
