As tracking requirements evolve, so do expectations. Businesses want to find assets inside large buildings, across different rooms or floors, and track thousands of items at the same time.
At this scale, Bluetooth-based systems reach their limits. Each scanner can handle only a limited number of devices. Adding more scanners may work for a few areas, but in large facilities it becomes expensive and hard to manage. Installation takes more time, extra connectivity is needed, and infrastructure costs increase. Because of this, traditional Bluetooth tracking is best suited to low-density use cases and zone-level visibility, not large-scale indoor tracking.
To address these challenges, Teltonika introduces EYE Beacon Mesh and EYE Sensor Mesh – Mesh tags designed to deliver stable, scalable indoor asset tracking across complex spaces.

BUILT ON MESH
EYE Beacon Mesh and EYE Sensor Mesh operate within a self-organising Wirepas mesh network. Devices communicate with nearby anchors that forward data through the network until it reaches a gateway.
The network adjusts automatically as devices are added, moved, or removed. Data keeps flowing even if a device goes offline or a connection is disrupted, without manual configuration or reliance on fixed communication paths. This makes the solution well-suited to complex indoor layouts.
DESIGNED FOR DIFFERENT TRACKING NEEDS
EYE Beacon Mesh
EYE Beacon Mesh is designed for asset identification and location tracking inside large indoor facilities. It helps maintain continuous visibility of equipment, tools, boxes, etc., across multiple rooms and floors.
Typical use cases include:
Warehouse and pallet tracking
Tool and equipment management
Asset location monitoring across multiple zones
EYE Sensor Mesh
EYE Sensor Mesh extends the system with environmental and status data. In addition to asset identification, it enables monitoring of conditions that affect asset quality and compliance.
Depending on the use case, it can track:
Temperature
Humidity
Movement
Together, both devices form a Mesh-based tracking system.
DEPLOYMENT WITHOUT COMPLEXITY
EYE Mesh tags join the network automatically after activation. Anchors are battery-powered and SIM-free. They receive data from nearby tags and relay it across the Mesh network until it reaches a gateway, where information becomes available for monitoring and analysis.
With no fixed communication paths, the system is easy to deploy and adapt as environments change. Additional devices can be added over time without redesigning the infrastructure.
