Solution components

The Iridium Connected® Telematics Solution combines a Teltonika GPS tracker (FMC125, FMx6xx) and an Iridium Edge® modem to communicate with Iridium® satellites via Iridium Short Burst Data® (SBD®) service and cellular network if satellite network is not required.

Practical and cost-effective

The solution allows transferring data to a server via the Iridium satellite network when other terrestrial networks are unavailable, thus Iridium Edge only sends data when the GPS tracker is unable to connect to the mobile network.
