BRAND-NEW VIDEO TELEMATICS: TELTONIKA KEEPCAM & PROCAM WITH EDGE AI

13/10/2026

Dashcams have become one of the most valuable tools for managing fleets. However, their effectiveness is determined by more than just simply recording the road. What matters is the ability to detect incidents accurately, securely store recorded evidence, and manage video data at scale.

We are introducing a new video telematics product line that brings these priorities together in a single ecosystem. It includes two AI-powered dashcams – Teltonika KeepCam and Teltonika ProCam – that combine real-time visibility, intelligent road and driver event detection, and a safety-first hardware design. Furthermore, camera modules extend each dashcam’s field of view and help monitor traffic around the vehicle.

ALL-IN-ONE DASHCAMS – TRACKING, LIVESTREAM, AND EDGE AI

Our new video telematics devices combine tracking, connectivity, livestreaming, and AI-powered event detection in a single dashcam. This reduces installation complexity while giving fleet operators immediate access to vehicle’s location and surroundings. So, which dashcam would suit your needs best?

TELTONIKA KEEPCAM

Teltonika KeepCam combines a road-facing camera, a tracking module, and multiple inputs and outputs for telematics accessories in a compact form factor. Using edge AI, it analyses the road in real time and warns drivers about potential collisions ahead. The alerts continue to work in challenging conditions such as darkness, rain, and fog, helping drivers react before an incident occurs.

But accidents do not always happen through the windscreen. A vehicle can be hit while reversing, sideswiped during a lane change, or damaged during loading. That's why Teltonika KeepCam can connect up to 2 additional cameras to cover the cabin, rear, or sides of the vehicle.

TELTONIKA PROCAM

Teltonika ProCam features a dual-facing camera that monitors both the road and the driver. When privacy is needed during breaks and rest periods, driver monitoring can be temporarily disabled. This rugged dashcam features the same telematics abilities as Teltonika KeepCam; however, it supports twice as many modules, making it well-suited for professional heavy fleets. With up to 6 streaming channels, it provides a 360° visibility around the vehicle, helping to monitor blind spots, cargo areas, and surrounding traffic.

Both dashcams are engineered with large fleets in mind. Integrated DSM continuously monitors driver behaviour, detecting distraction, fatigue, phone use, and other unsafe actions in real time. The system can recognise up to 200 individual drivers, making driver identification, scoring, and reporting automated across changing vehicles. Fleet managers can also communicate with drivers directly using the built-in speaker.

Teltonika’s devices are equally prepared for long hours on the road. A heatsink casing helps maintain stable operation behind the windscreen, while supercapacitor backup power protects footage if vehicle power is lost during an incident. With support for up to 1 TB of storage, fleets can keep extensive video records available for investigations, insurance claims, and compliance requirements whenever they are needed.

EXPANDED VISION WITH MODULAR SETUP

Many critical events happen outside the dashcam’s main field of view. Driver fatigue, unsafe behaviour around the vehicle, cargo security incidents, or blind-spot collisions often require additional visibility.

To provide a more complete view of vehicle activity, both dashcams support additional camera modules. Rear and side camera modules are IP69K-rated for outdoor use and are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. To add an in-cabin view to Teltonika KeepCam, a DSM camera module is available to monitor the driver. It features infrared night vision for reliable performance in low-light conditions.

All camera modules use AHD analogue technology, providing a practical advantage for larger vehicles. Longer cable lengths allow installers to cover use cases ranging from delivery vans to truck-and-trailer combinations.

PREVIEW, CONFIGURE, AND DEPLOY WITH TELTONIKA SOFTWARE

To help ensure that every channel captures the intended field of view before a vehicle enters service, technicians can preview live camera feeds and verify camera positioning directly through TCT.

Finally, more alerts do not always lead to better results. Excessive false positives create additional work for operators, increase data consumption, and can reduce confidence in the system over time. To give greater control over AI-powered events, TCT provides adjustable alert thresholds, detection duration, notification intervals, upload settings, and AI sensitivity, helping to fine-tune event detection to specific needs.

FAQ

Do I need to connect these dashcams to an additional Teltonika device?

No, both Teltonika KeepCam and ProCam are standalone devices with built-in tracking, connectivity, video monitoring, and edge AI.

What accessories can I connect to dashcams?

Both dashcams are equipped with three digital inputs (DIN), one digital output (DOUT), and an RS232 interface, enabling integration with a wide range of external accessories.

To improve ADAS accuracy for lane departure warnings, DIN 1 and DIN 2 can be used to connect the vehicle's turn signals. The remaining digital input can be used for accessories such as door sensors or brake signal inputs. The digital output allows the dashcam to control external devices, including buzzers for driver notifications or engine immobilisation relays to help prevent unauthorised vehicle use. Finally, the RS232 interface supports commonly used telematics accessories such as fuel level sensors and RFID card readers.

What modular setups can I implement?

You can choose any camera modules required for your specific project. Teltonika KeepCam supports up to 2 additional camera modules, while Teltonika ProCam supports up to 4 additional camera modules.

This flexibility allows you to build anything from a simple two-channel setup, such as front and rear monitoring with KeepCam, to a comprehensive multi-camera system with ProCam that provides near 360-degree visibility around the vehicle.

Does ADAS work on side and rear modules?

No. Currently, ADAS functions are supported only on the front-facing channel. Side and rear camera modules are used for recording and live video monitoring, but they do not support ADAS object detection or event identification.

How do Teltonika KeepCam and ProCam connect to the vehicle?

The devices run on 9-36 V DC, supplied through the integrated power and GPIO harness. They connect to the battery and ignition of the vehicle. Power input is protected against undervoltage, short circuit, and reverse polarity, and two built-in supercapacitors keep the devices alive long enough to close its recordings cleanly if power is cut suddenly.

Can I configure Teltonika KeepCam and ProCam wirelessly in TCT?

Yes. Both dashcams create their own Wi-Fi hotspot, allowing them to be configured wirelessly through TCT. This is particularly useful during installation, as wireless connection makes it easier to position and adjust cameras, ensuring the desired field of view before deployment.
